EthOss Webinar: New Tools & Synthetic Materials – A Safer, More Predictable Sinus Augmentation

Free CPD Webinar - True Bone Regeneration: New Tools & Synthetic Materials – A Safer, More Predictable Sinus Augmentation

Newer synthetic grafting materials - which are bacterio-static and biocompatible with osteogenic potential - combined with new surgical tools designed to access the sinus have made the procedure of Sinus Augmentation safer and more predictable.

The concept of using materials that fully bio-absorb, turning over to host bone, allows clinicians to assess the case long term only using x-rays. New tools are varied and include methods for both lateral and crestal approaches to the sinus lining lifting.

Dr Peter Fairbairn will investigate his preferred tools - DASK and Versah - for sinus augmentation procedures as well as tips and tricks to improve the predictability of the surgical methods. Dr Peter Fairbairn will highlight the benefits of using a multifaceted approach where numerous tasks are completed in one surgical procedure, including improving soft tissue outcomes.

Avoiding complications is always a good approach in implant dentistry, especially in sinus augmentation and this can be achieved by simplifying the approach.
